Beyond Sales: Connecting Consumer Insight, Culture and Commercial Growth

For more than two decades, Bionda Sno has built a career shaped by curiosity about people—how they live, what inspires them and the choices they make. While her professional path began in retail and evolved into senior commercial leadership within the Nike ecosystem, the common thread has always been a fascination with consumer behaviour and the relationship between brands, culture and commerce.

Working across buying, merchandising, marketplace strategy and business development throughout Europe, she has collaborated with cross-functional teams to translate consumer demand, market intelligence and commercial performance into long-term growth strategies. Her corporate career has been defined not only by commercial results but by an ability to connect insights across product, brand and business, helping organisations navigate changing consumer expectations.

Running in parallel is an independent practice as a curator, trend forecaster and cultural consultant. Through collaborations with organisations including WGSN, The Hoxton, Soho House and contemporary galleries across Europe, her work explores how art, design, hospitality and fashion reflect wider cultural and societal shifts. Whether curating exhibitions or contributing to trend forecasting, the focus remains the same: observing how people connect with ideas, places and experiences.

Rather than viewing commerce and culture as separate disciplines, Bionda sees them as deeply interconnected. Both require careful observation, empathy and an understanding that the strongest brands are built not only on products, but on relevance, emotion and human connection.

Today, her work sits at the intersection of consumer insight, cultural intelligence and commercial strategy, bringing together analytical thinking with creative curiosity to help brands understand not only where consumers are today, but where they are going next.
